How to Replace an Audi G28 Engine Speed Sensor

1. Engine Speed Sensor
Located on the edge of the transmission above the flywheel ring gear, the G28 Engine Speed Sensor sends signals to ECU pin T55/49 through a grey wire. The ECU then utilizes this information to regulate the flow of fuel, timig and boost. It also sends signals to the G5 tachometer in the instrument cluster.
The sensor serves as a reference point to connect with the G40 Camshaft Position Sensor. The ecu needs to know when the crankshaft is TDC and where the camshaft is located so that it can activate spark and injectors according to the situation.
If this sensor fails, the ECU will display a P00160 code which means the Crank Shaft and Intake Camshaft aren't in sync and possibly indicating the chain stretching or a jump link on the upper timing chain. However, the code won't appear on its own without additional information from other sensors (G4 and G40).
Testing is a bit tricky since there are two pins for the connector and they serve different purposes however the best method of testing it is to measure the resistance between the sensor and the ECU. If the sensor is operational, it should be reading approximately 1000 ohms. Look for signs of coolant, or oil in the connector bay if you have problems with this part.
2. Injectors
Yesterday accelerating full speed from highway paytoll, i experienced an abrupt drop in power like the engine is running out of gas or the injectors are not firing anymore. In the morning, i removed the spark plugs, 3 were drenched in gazoline, the 4th one was dry. I put tissue over each injector hole and when i turn the engine on without sparks, the 3 with gazoline jump right out. The 4th one stays closed. I checked the ground connection on ECU pins 14/55/30/55/48/55/14/55/48/ I got zero Ohm. I assume that the problem is somewhere else.
I also tried to reset the PID with no success. The car will start when the G28 is unplugged, and it runs fine with the G28 connected. However the intermittent misfire issue still occurs at higher RPM. The coolant temperature sensor (G62) shows the wrong temperature of -49c, even if I unplug it. I also noticed that the oil gauge in the cockpit shows 2 bars when the actual pressure is zero.
I'm not sure what to do, i believe that i've eliminated everything else. I'm concerned that i may have missed something. Please let me know if you have any ideas! TIA!
3. Fuel Pump
